Built from 10,000mm hydrostatic head material and fitted with an extra large storm peak the Avid Carp Ascent bivvy will stand strong regardless of what mother nature throws at it, you will be able to take shelter from the elements safe in the knowledge you will remain dry.
Able to adapt to any season, the Ascent 1 Man is fitted with clear and mosquito mesh panel options at the front of the bivvy to allow you to be flexible to the weather conditions. In the height of summer you could even roll the front of the bivvy up and have a completely open front face, it would certainly make getting to your screaming alarm in the middle of the night a lot easier, that’s if you don’t mind being joined by mosquitos.
In the winter months an overwrap is available (sold separately) the wrap will minimise condensation and add another layer of protection, maximising heat retention. Dual-zipped doors allow you to create a letter box opening in order to keep a look out for rolling carp across the lake
But perhaps the jewel in the crown in terms of the Ascents flexibility is the panoramic mosquito mesh window which spans the entire rear of the bivvy, acting as air conditioning in the summer months, allowing air to pass freely through your bivvy, keeping you cool.
The Avid Carp Ascent utilises colour coded tension straps and an external pole layout assist with assembly and give you more room inside. The bivvy also comes with a clip in heavy duty groundsheet and rod retention bars which come in handy when adjusting your rig or hooking bait.
