Century Tip Tornado Graphex Sport Fishing Rod<Sea Rods

This Century Tip Tornado Graphex Sport Rod is 13ft 11Inch in length, perfect for carp anglers looking to cast the distance. The casting weight of 125-225g makes this a well-balanced rod capable of heavy to mixed action.

The Tip Tornado is made using Century’s finest autoclave technology. This creates maximum resin matrix consolidation or Graphex which in turn makes an incredibly strong rod blank. The tip is actually a high tenacity carbon tip thanks so customised IM (intermediate modulus).

The rod also sports AT-T (Anti -Twist Technology) which is great for assisting directional control when casting and reeling lines back in. There is a phased composite taper in butt section making this a Gearbox Design. The Graphex rod also boasts marine-grade etched stainless steel trim bands upper and lower butt.

To make sure the rod is secure when parts are put together, these are a CNC machined, tapered reverse fit joint. There is also a great pairing for the rods strength with the Fuji Titanium K Guides configured for multiplier or fixed spool.

For ease in bite detection, the rod is customised with white inlays and tippings on a metallic blue. The blank colour is a Midnight Black so this is a cosmetically impressive rod. To make sure this is also a rod of comfort, Century has constructed a Japanese shrink rubber (JSR) handle and JSR rubber separator grip on lower tip and upper butt.

As a nice bonus, Century also supplies the rod with a partition rod case to keep the rod safe in transport and storage.
