Established in the 1960s, Fox International has developed over the last 50 years to become one of the leading fishing manufacturers in Europe for carp, match and coarse, sea, predator, and modern lure tackle. Wits its ethos of innovative, high quality, performance products, Fox covers multiple ranges and a huge variety of products from clothing to fish care, offering something for every angler.
The majority of carp and specimen angling is the waiting game for the bite alarms to ring and so as you wait around the bankside, you may as well do it in comfort. Fishing comfort has come a long way since the old fold-out stool that gives you killer back pain by the end of a session and Fox’s Combo Chair is certainly an example of the improvements made to fishing furnishings.
Made from 100% Polyester with Polyurethane padding and filling, this chair is light, water-resistance and incredibly durable for all the rips and plucks it may endure from the barrow travels to the slumping into the chair you do after a long battle with a carp. The areas of most contact are covered in a 3D mesh that gives breathability to the skin for a more comfortable seat.
The structure of the Fox chair is equally impressive with the Duralite magnesium alloy construction. This includes the One-touch Spring-Lok leg mechanisms (patent pending) and large swivelling mud feet that all contribute to an easy to use, customisable frame for the perfect height per angler and angled feet to match the terrain you fish from.
The adjustable frame allows three positions: across the bedchair like a traditional bed buddy, on the side of bedchair frame for sitting at the front of the bivvy or independent of the bedchair as a traditional low chair. This is great for the social angler that may need an extra seat when a guest comes over to your bivvy.
For ease of transportation, the chair comes with a removable padded shoulder strap. When folded the chair has the dimensions of 14cm x 54cm x 72cm. When fully opened the dimensions are Height 32cm, Seat width: 47cm, Back height: 52cm and of course the Duralite gets its name from the lightweight of just 3.25kg.
