Danny Fairbrass, Korda founder, first thought up the Singlez system whilst on a fishing trip with his friends in France, way back in 2008. He was fed up with wasting time on the bank trying to get his single stick system evening spaced and he wasn’t having much luck when he reverted to a buzz bar setup either. He found himself wishing that there was a stable and durable rod support system which not only allowed him to be versatile with his angling and tackle a range of venues but also allowed him to setup quickly – without the hassle of measuring and spacing his system. What he really wanted was a central boss which held his entire pre-set buzz bar system in place: the Korda Singlez range was born, with the Ball Stabiliser as its anchor. His next task was to find a manufacturer which could realise his dream. This proved more difficult then Danny first expected and, for the better part of a decade, he was unable to find a company which could manufacture this range to his exacting standard. This was until he met JAG. The British company is not only passionate about angling but it is also every bit as precise as Korda. This gave Danny the confidence to hand his brain-child into JAG’s capable hands – allowing his system to finally be realised.
