Founded over a decade ago, LED Lenser is a leading torch manufacturer that is established internationally in over 60 countries, and more than 50 million people worldwide have used LED Lenser products. Whether you are an angler, outdoor enthusiasts, professional tradesmen, or an emergency services personnel, the LED Lenser products offer outstanding lighting solutions that not only provide exceptional clarity of vision but are also environmentally minded.
It’s easy to wonder if you’re walking too close to the water’s edge when darkness falls in the countryside. The MH7 provides optimal lighting to keep the bankside, your bivvy, and waters horizon clearly in sight. There are several settings depending on your condition requirements. Select from Power for high light output, Low Power for economical light (longer battery life), Mid Power, Boost mode for short-duration maximum brightness of 600 lumens or lastly the Blink mode that offers automatic emission of light impulses at regular intervals. There is also a red LED light option.
To change between on, off and different modes there is a front switch on the head of the handheld torch that you can use with one hand. The Ledlenser headtorch sports a transportation lock which prevents the light from being turned on inadvertently. Making this a headtorch that stands out against the rest, the MH7 offers safety features of the IPX4 which protects against water splashing from any direction and the IP5X that protects the torch against dust.
With around 40hrs of battery life, depending on which mode you use, the headtorch can be recharged via the supplied cable. Anglers will have full control over the power status of the torch with a low battery warning, charge indicator and battery indicator. By using rechargeable batteries, you’re not just protecting your wallet, but also the environment.
However, if charging isn’t an option, the MH7 can also be operated with disposable batteries. With a weight of 139g and headband diameter of 31mm, this is a lighting option to take with you to the bankside.
