Innovation certainly prevails with the MTX4 Ultra package from Matrix. The matrix range of poles continues to offer performance and value at every level. These poles are the perfect tool for those snaggy margin swims, coming with 4x Match Ultra 1 kits and 4x Power Ultra 1 kits. The Ultra range incorporates the perfect balance between strength and rigidity to create poles that can handle the vigour of modern-day commercial fishing but still remain ultra-responsive.

The Matrix 4 power series is built on the same mandrel as the original Nemesis poles, providing superb performance and balance to your experience. All the MTX poles are fully interchangeable so if you ever come across a bit of an issue on the bank and accidentally break a section you can always easily grab a spare.

The poles feature Multi Strand Technology (MST) and contain an elastic strength rating of 18 so the matrix pole is flexible and resilient for those big specimens. There is an exclusive glide feel with anti-friction taped sections, providing strength, a secure grip whilst easily pulling the pole in when landing a fish. All these pole joints are reinforced with 1K carbon weave, giving additional structural strength. The entire length of the pole is 16m and is made up of ten sections. The pole is closed length of 1800mm and a variation of weights depending on what length you choose. Weight at 13m: 850g. Weight at 14.5m: 1115g. Weight at 16m: 1380g.

This kit includes a total of eight additional top kits: 2x Short and 1x Standard no3 sections and 2x Mini extensions, giving great, optional length to your poles. This also includes a generous kit rube packaging to protect all the poles which can be stored in the Matrix Ethos Pro Holdall that comes with the kit. This medium sizes holdall in 1.95m long and is a traditional type of rod holdall with a flat profile which makes it perfect for use with a transport system. There are two external pockets for a brolly, banksticks, feeder arms and measuring sticks. The bag features long zips for easy access to all the pockets. The main compartments will accommodate up to 6 tubes and feature a Smart Mark System (SMS). For ease and comfort when in transportation these is an adjustable padded shoulder strap and a carry handle.

The MTX4 features a section alignment decal system which is all the sections numbered to make the assembly process much easier and quicker so you can get fishing in a short space of set up time. All kits are pre bushed so the business end of your pole effectively runs the elastic through it. In addition, this match and power kit are fitted with the new revolve side puller, so you can pull the line back from the featured slot. The kit also comes with a rigid Cupping Kit and two groundbait cups, that you can screw in the long handle thanks to the secure thread that is built into the side of the cup.
