When your bite alarm screeches through the night and catches you blurry-eyed the last thing you need to do is scramble around in the dark trying to reach to turn your bivvy light on manually or via remote.
Powapacs have found a solution to this with the introduction of the Powalite+, equipped with a small PIR sensor, the Powalite+ is activated via motion sensor. The Powalite+ will stay illuminated until it stops sensing movement, eventually turning itself off after approximately 20-30 seconds.
As a result, the next time you’re greeted by your bite alarm screaming off during the night, you can swing your legs out of your sleeping bag and over the edge of your bed, by which time your bivvy will be floodlit, meaning you’re out on the bank in no time at all.
The powerful lithium ion battery in the Powalite+ will provide up to 250 hours on a single charge and produces three different light types; white, red and SOS, furthermore, there are two brightness settings for each type of light.
The compact, lightweight design can be enhanced with a magnetic fitting (sold separately) meaning the Powalite+ can be attached to any part of your bivvy, providing light inside and out.
Provided with the Powalite+ is a stylish, waterproof, neoprene case and a handy carabiner clip to offer you the ability to hang your light from a bivvy pole or nearby tree.
