After that success of Preston’s Supera and original Monster range, the brand has taken what they learnt from those ranges and incorporated it into its latest range, the Preston Innovations Monster X range. The Monster X range is comprised of six rods; three carp feeders, a method feeder rod, a rod specifically designed with pellet waggler fishing in mind and a new development, the Wandzee, a seven foot rod optimised for canal or snake style lakes, where short casts to the far bank can be cumbersome with a longer rod.

The Wandzee is a one-piece with removable tip, at just 7ft/2.1m the Wandzee is perfect for small intimate venues where a short cast is routine, being such a short rod, it weighs in at just 138g  and has a casting weight of 30g.

Being a shorter rod, the handle is also shorter than the other rods in the range – 50cm – but is supplied with the same 0.75oz, 1.00oz and 1.50oz tips and has the same 4lb to 8lb line rating.
