Trakker Superdome Fishing Bivvy Extended Wrap,
If you’re the proud owner of Trakker’s impressive Superdome Bivvy then you’ll love this Extended Wrap. Designed to engulf the super-sized bivvy with a twin skin, this is the ideal winter option for the long session angler who doesn’t want to let a little inclement weather stop them from enjoying their time on the bank. This huge overwrap provides you with an additional 0.5m onto the depth of your bivvy, giving you vital additional space to store your wet or damp tackle, as well as providing you with that all important insulating layer.
If you’re planning on heading to the bank in cold or wet conditions then an overwrap is an absolute essential for your carp fishing setup. Firstly, the overwrap traps a layer of air between itself and the roof of your shelter. This increases the heat retention of the shelter, ensuring that you don’t spend all night and day shivering and struggling to keep warm. This also prevents a layer of condensation from forming inside the bivvy as the insulating air layer prevents moisture particles from condensing on contact, so you’ll never again be woken by cold drips of water falling from the ceiling of your shelter. In the warmer months, this insulating layer of air between your bivvy and the overwrap can also prevent the sun’s heat from penetrating through your bivvy. This helps to keep your bivvy cooler for longer in the hotter conditions. The Trakker Superdome Bivvy Extended Wrap features the same mozzie mesh ventilation points as the main bivvy. These perfectly align, allowing you to experience supreme air flow even with the overwrap in position – making it the ideal option for the warmer summer months too.
One of the most impressive features of the Trakker Superdome was its complete through access. The Extended Wrap has maintained this feature and it boasts both a front and a rear door. These allow you to move through the bivvy, so it can be set up in any position on the bank whilst still allowing you quick and easy access to your fishing rods at any given moment. What’s more, these doors have both been fitted via a dual zip attachment. As with the doors on the original bivvy, these allow you to fish with the doors rolled down in a letter box style. This is ideal for all those bitterly cold, windy, and wet weather conditions when you want to remain in the shelter of your bivvy all day long whilst still enjoying a panoramic view over your carp rods and the water. As an added bonus, the overwrap features the same Velcro rod straps as the original bivvy. These ensure that you can safely and securely store your rods whilst you’re rigging up – without risking damage to your gear or yourself.
Despite its huge sizes, this Trakker Superdome Bivvy Extended Wrap is just as easy to erect solo as the bivvy itself. If you’re familiar with Trakker’s Armo or SLX bivvies then you’ll be able to easily fit this wrap without hassle. Simply pull it over the bivvy and peg it down – it really is as simple as that!
Finally, you’ll be pleased to hear that, due to the storm peak on the bivvy itself, this Extended Wrap gives you even more space inside your bivvy – creating a large 50cm porch area. Whether you use this area to store your cooking equipment, your deconstructed barrow, or your damp clothing it is up to you – it is the ideal space for all that gear you want to keep protected without having it clutter up space inside the main body of the bivvy itself.
